The Secure Print feature allows users to send a confidential print job to the copier without it printing until they walk up to the printer and release it from the print queue. This will prevent others who may be around the copier from seeing confidential items.

To print using the Secure Print feature:

• From an open application (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), click ‘File’ -> ‘Print’.
• Select the Canon 8095 printer.
• Select ‘Printer Properties’.
• From the ‘Output Method’ dropdown on the ‘Page Setup’ tab, select ‘Secured Print’.
• Click ‘OK’ to save and close the Printer Properties window.
• Click ‘Print’.
• Type in a PIN when prompted and select ‘OK’.
• Your document will now be available at the printer .

To retrieve your Secure Print document from printer:

• At the printer, press the ’Main Menu’ button.
• Press the ‘Secured Print’ option.
• Select your print job from the listing provided.
• Press ‘Secure Print’.
• Type in the PIN you created.
• The copier will proceed to print the document.
